On Saturday July 8 2006 the Midlands Music Network ( jointly run by Kevin Ashcroft and James Deans Car Blues Band ) presented a special evening of entertainment at The Merrivale - an evening with Steve Gibbons who has been in the music business for over four decades.

It was a very entertaining evening with some great music and at the end of the night Steve did an accoustic version of his massive hit 'Tulane'.
