next Roy Orbison show is September 2009 which now gives me time
to get the 'You Gave Me The Blues' album completed.
Steve
Smith has joined theKAB on bass and rehearsing starts this month
on new material which will be on the second album.

The
Roy Orbison show is becomming very popular and many more gigs
are planned for 2010 which is taking up a lot more of my time
than anticipated which means theKAB is taking second place at
the moment.

Well,
we were asked so mnay times to revert back to our old name so
how could we refuse .. we are now back as theKAB

The
final mix has now been completed on the long overdue 'You Gave
Me The Blues' album and the master glass CD is being prepared
for pressing.. its been a long and at times painfull journey
but we are very excited with the finished product.. release
date to follow.

gigs have finished for a
while and its back to original music preparing
for the album release. Drummer Tony Smith
is playing on our planned 2nd album after
the great job he did on 'You Gave Me The Blues'
As part of the BBC's live transmission of Tosca
from the
Royal Opera House London we entertained a great
crowd on
'The Beach' in Birmingham which was transmitted
live to the
big screen
June 27th 2007 - Recording of 'You Gave Me The Blues'
has been completed

June 27th 2007 marked the end of a long journey in recording the
album 'You Gave Me The Blues'.
Next task
is the mix which is hoped to be completed by July 2008
We were priveliged to have Becky Shakespeare guest on the album

RAIN STOPS PLAY !!
The planned live gig in Chamberlain
Square on Thursday 31 May 2007 had to be cancelled due to awful
weather as it just wasn't safe to play with all the electrics
- there was actually a thuinderstorm !!

This will be the title of my first
album - the title track is a hard hitting ballad that
hopefully brings out the best in my playing - sustained string bending
solos that emerse you into the song and belies
the fact that the song is 9 minutes long !!!
